Designing a holiday collection with room to breathe

A seasonal assortment does not need to shout. It needs a rhythm customers can feel.

Holiday wooden decorations

Every year, the holiday brief arrives with the same pressure: make it feel new, make it feel joyful, and make sure it works on a real shelf. Our answer is to begin with editing.

Start with one clear gesture

For this collection, that gesture was a hand-painted line of red through natural wood. It gave snowmen, trees and letter signs a shared visual language without flattening their individual character.

Build a family, not a pile

We developed three scales, two finishes and a repeating star shape. The result is an assortment that can move from a small gift table to a full window display and still feel like one story.

“A collection earns its place when every piece makes the pieces around it better.”

Leave space for the shopper

Good seasonal design invites people in. We keep negative space in the artwork and in the packaging so the object can be understood at a glance, then discovered up close.

That balance is what makes a holiday range last beyond a single season: recognisable, adaptable and quietly full of feeling.
